Homework 5

This is a series of photographs featured in Creative Arts Design Annual #54.  The Director of Photography was Brian O'Connell and the client was Carla Colletto Swimwear.  I find this photo series notable because I think the normal challenges of lighting would be multiplied by both the water (setting the lights at angles to penetrate rather than reflect off the surface) and by the limitations of the model's ability to hold their breath and hold a pose while floating... There must have been hundreds if not thousands of shots just to get the model looking good while positioned well in the light environment.
